Checking my e-mails from the Internet cafe, I got this from my adoption agency:
We are happy to inform you that on May 18, 2006, your China documents were logged in with the China Center for Adoption Affairs. Only 9 days from when they mailed them out!
They also mentioned that the most recent child assignments took 11.5 months from log-in date to the assignment of a child and they do anticipate that the waiting times will increase. Bummer.

another step closer. The wait is extremely hard but worth every second. Our prayers will be with. We are on a different road to adopt our daughter but know how dreadful the wait is. Stay positive and the time will fly.

Yeah! LID is a great thing to celebrate. Wish I had a solution for the wait. Spending time with friends helps a bit especially if they understand about the wait.
