Happy 4th!

Leah and I spent Saturday afternoon at our townships freedom festival to celebrate the upcoming 4th of July holiday. It was an absolutely beautiful day and the kids (Leah’s little friends sat next to us) went crazy for all the candy the parade participants threw from the floats and fire engines.

Not only is it the 4th of July, but also my wedding anniversary. Nine years ago today my husband and I were married. We had 75 people join us for a morning mass, brunch reception at a local country club and then a 4th of July BBQ right here in our backyard. Happy anniversary Joe!

Okay this is your better late than never sister. I missed sending you a birthday card and of course an anniversary card. Don’t feel bad though, like I recently told my friend Alisha, you know you are my true friend when I send you a birthday wish (LATE). It seems to be my MO (motis opperandus) or however you spell it. Anyway what a nice picture of you and Joe. Can you believe it’s been so long already? I hope you had a nice birthday and anniversarry. Keep me posted on when you are going to China.
