Maya is 10 months old today. This, I feel, is the perfect baby age. Unlike newborns, 10 month olds have mini-personalities and are fun to play with. Yet to come are the full blown out temper tantrums (unless of course we aren’t feeding Maya fast enough – then we get a glimpse of what is to come). I remember Leah this age and only wish I had appreciated this stage in her development more. I always thought “when Leah older then we can play games together, when she is older we can watch movies together.” I don’t think I fully realized what a wonderful age 10 months is.

My old boss told me the same exact thing! He loved it when his kids were 10 months. Must be a magical time.

Buttons was 9 months old when she came home and I agree it’s a wonderful age. I look at Maya and I think she looks so much like Buttons. I’ll have to e-mail you some pics.
So glad you’re having a wonderful time. I know this is a huge adjustment. Sounds like your handling it very well.

I agree i am not so much into newborns…don’t get me wrong, I love them, but the 6-18 months is what I love the most….hah hah!

As I see Grace quicky changing right before my eyes, I have learned to savor each and every day with her. There will never be a tomorrow like today. They grow up much too quickly.

What a beautiful girl!!! Annslee was 13 months when she came home so I can’t address the 10 month magic. I have found that whatever age she is I always think “this is my favorite age” I am sure that will change when she is 14 yrs old or so LOL

My God that is one gorgeous baby. I loved ten months with Livi, I would look at her and beg her to stay 10 months. Where is the brick to place gently on her head?

I have had a few of the tantrums with Briana who is 12 months. Those are not fun!!!! 🙂
