Today we got the call! We are happy, thrilled and excited to announce a referral for our beautiful baby girl!
Her name is Yi Mei, soon to be renamed Maya Yi Mei and she is in the Guangxi Province. She was born on October 18th, 2006 which makes her almost eight months old. We should be traveling to China to bring her home between six to eight weeks from now.
The first person I called, obviously, was my husband Joe. I then called my parents, who are flying home from Hawaii tomorrow, to tell them the good news. As if by fate, today Leah was having a playdate with her little girlfriend Kimberly who was also adopted from China a few years ago. I could hardly wait for her mom Debbie to pick her up! After some hugging and tears on the front lawn, Debbie came inside and was one of the first people to see my new daughter. It was great to share my photo’s with a fellow adoptive mom.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are cosindernig an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. I nominate Bellevue Playgroup for the £200.00 as it is a Registered Charity, with very hard working staff. They look after children from 2 1/2 yrs to 4 yrs from all nationalities and backgrounds. Initially the children are very scared to be away from their parents and the brilliant staff help them settle in a welcoming friendly setting in the Wrexham Area.
