First, thanks to everyone who left a comment on my last post. My Dad was in a great mood when I saw him last night and I think he will be able to pull through this operation with flying colors. We are all routing for ya Dad!
This morning we took advantage of the nice weather and went hiking in a local park. We were also celebrating the fact that we now have travel approval. We are just waiting for confirmation (which should come on Monday) and once received we can make flight arrangements. Right now it looks like we will be leaving for China in about two weeks!
I still can’t quite believe that we are going. I am thrilled, nervous, happy and amazed each time I think about it!!

How exciting!!! I was right where you are two years ago and I can still remember the excitement and the panic and the anxiety and the joy all at once right up until they put my daughter in my arms.
